About The Project
Fleur's Wonderland is an AR Driven app created specifically for Abertay University's pet Penguin statue: Fleur in 2018. Abertay University was the client for this project, and the general population of Dundee was able to download the application on their phones (either ios or android) to access the Mixed reality exhibit we set up.
Users could point their camera at the penguin statue and see it come to life with virtual elements surrounding it providing both information and visual appeal.
My Role
I spearheaded the design and development of this project, collaborating with artist Rishikesh Lokare. Using Unity and the Vuforia Engine, we successfully built and published the app to the Google Play and Apple App Stores within a strict three-week deadline. My role involved technical scoping to ensure the augmented reality content was optimized and feasible for mobile devices.
